“Art & Sole” 5K & Fun Run is a community wide event that partners BTW Magnet High School and the citizens of Montgomery. The runs will start on BTW Magnet HS campus at 8AM with onsite registration starting at 7AM. Original student artwork is given to the top three winners in age divisions: Under 20, Under 30, Under 40 and Under 50 and Under 60. Medals will be given to Top 25 participants in the 1 Mile Fun Run.
All participants are invited to attend the “after run” celebration with music provided by BTW’s jazz ensemble. The run is designed to help fund the needs of BTW students with special talents and a commitment to excellence.
Sponsored by the Friends of Academic Magnet Education (F.A.M.E.), the funds raised through the run will allow FAME to purchase supplies for visual arts and photography, supplement student trips to attend competitions, purchase needed musical instruments for band and assist in paying for rental space for concert and dance performances.
