Montgomery, Alabama – Bubbles Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop will celebrate its grand opening in Montgomery on Monday January, 30 2017. The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce will join owner Tamekia Matthews and her team for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m.
Bubbles Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop is home to the deliciously flavored bubble waffle. You can choose to fill your waffle with Blue Bell Ice Cream and extra toppings or enjoy one of our savory waffles filled with cheese, sausage, bacon, or pepperoni served with maple syrup. Currently they have Red Velvet, Banana Nut, Chocolate, Green Tea, and several other flavors that owner Tamekia comes up with on the fly. Bubbles also serves an assortment of sandwiches along with our homemade chicken salad that is just as amazing.
Tamekia states, “We are confident in saying that there is nothing like the Bubble Waffle in Montgomery. Our waffles and special menu will be sure to keep your taste buds buzzing and coming back for more. We are also very excited to add our unique restaurant to the list of other amazing local businesses in Montgomery. It feels great to be a part of all of the growth in the area.
As a native of Montgomery, AL and graduate of AUM, Tamekia is grateful for all of the support that she has received so far prior to her grand opening. She glowingly stated, “I had an idea and instantly wanted to bring it to life and the response we have received has been overwhelming. We are delighted to see how everyone will react once they try our unique Bubble Waffles.”
Bubbles Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop is located in the food court at Eastdale Mall. The grand opening will feature a catered lunch giveaway for one lucky office and a fun experience to all.
