Torrance “Squalle” Wilcher is signed to independent label Crucial Time Records (CTR). CTR is a very supportive and dynamic label and is always looking for new talented artists and people who are experienced in the promotion and marketing field. Montgomery natives Justin Williams and Aj Hebrew founded CTR.
WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU DO?
I like to call it “Vintage Hip-Hop”. It is a mix of old school and new school. My music is Vibe Music, music that people can relate to. It’s about feelings, emotions, and reactions. Things that the average human may go through.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR UPCOMING PROJECTS?
I have a mix tape Tha Gift hosted by DJ Boom from Atlanta. It has two parts. Part 1 has 12 Radio Type tracks and Part 2 contains the Vibe Music. My mix tape allows me to show fans that I am a versatile artist. It is titled Tha Gift because being a rapper is a gift, and I use that gift to bless other people. You have to have a certain mindset to understand where my music is coming from.

DO YOU HAVE ANY UPCOMING PERFORMANCES?
In December and January. I will be performing at the Alley Bar with a live band.
