Montgomery, AL (Gumptown Magazine) The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), River Region Chapter, held its monthly meeting today at Brantwood Children’s Home. Members, guests, and visitors enjoyed lunch and got the opportunity to network with each other.
The ABWA made a presentation in the amount of $750 to Brantwood Children’s Home. “We give to organizations that support and promote education” said Chapter President Tracey Harris. “We hope that this will help them continue to do the great things that they already do.”
Brantwood Children’s Home Executive Director Gerald Jones expressed his appreciation for the donation. “This will help us serve our mission to help young people.”
Jones was also the guest speaker for the meeting. He talked about the different programs that they offer. Jones also shared his passion for children and for Brantwood.
