Selma University 144th Founders Day Convocation

The Convocation will be on campus and is planned for 11 a.m., in the Jemison–Owens Auditorium at 1501 Boynton Street, where Dr. Boise Kimber will be our guest speaker. Dr. Kimber is the Executive Secretary, Board of Directors of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. 

Following the Convocation, our celebration will continue with a Founders‘ Day Banquet, 1 p.m., at the George P. Evans Reception Center, 912 Selma Ave, Selma, AL 36701. During the banquet, the University will recognize the noteworthy contributions of several supporters and alumni. 

Tickets for the banquet may be purchased by completing the enclosed order form and sending it along with a check or money order to Selma University at 1501 Boynton Street, Selma, AL, 36701. The tickets will be mailed to the appropriate address upon receipt of the ordered form and payment. The cost is $50 per ticket or $400 per table.
