DESCRIPTION:The City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department\, in collaboration with the local volunteer group Touched by Angels\, invites the community to wear pink and participate in the first inaugural family-friendly event for Breast Cancer Awareness. This exciting event will take place at Woodmere Park\, located at 5881\nWoodmere Blvd\, on May 31\, 2025\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. \nAttendees can look forward to a day filled with food trucks\, local vendors\, live music\,\nand fellowship. There will be activities for children\, including inflatables\, as well as\nvaluable breast cancer information and resources. This free event aims to bring\nawareness and remembrance to the community while fostering a spirit of togetherness. \nA highlight of the event will be the Driving Hope Mobile Mammogram Bus\, which will be\non-site offering free mammograms to attendees. This initiative underscores the\nimportance of early detection and provides a vital resource for those in need. \nThe event is pet-friendly\, so feel free to bring your leashed pets along! Guests are\nencouraged to bring chairs\, picnics\, small coolers\, and more to enjoy a comfortable day\nin the park. Security will be present to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for\neveryone.
