MONTGOMERY, AL -Thursday – Sunday: October 19-22 21 Dreams Arts & Culture is celebrating Montgomery’s emerging arts community this October in its second annual Flight of Arts. 2016 marked the official recognition of National Arts and Humanities Month; an initiative focused on engaging creatives and arts advocates in various cities across the country fostering partnerships among communities. In conjunction with National Arts and Humanities Month (NAHM), the event will highlight the local creative arts community, allowing multiple opportunities for the public to experience the arts over the course of a weekend.
 
The four-day event will feature several workshops and exhibitions for digital, visual, performing, literary and culinary arts. All events and activities will be hosted at different venues in and around downtown Montgomery to raise public awareness and community engagement. 21 Dreams hopes to encourage organizations and individuals to support the initiative through collaboration; highlighting the talented creatives in the River Region.
