FREEDOM FARM AZUL’S SCREENING SERIES LOOKS TO EMPOWER AND INSPIRE COMMUNITIES THROUGH FILM

Prattville, Alabama – Freedom Farm Azul’s Film Series programmed through the Working Films Rural Cinema project and in community partnership with Clarke Street Fund, is a free screening series of films that illuminate groundbreaking stories on Indigenous and Black agrarian histories, land return efforts, and community-rooted food systems. The series is titled Revolution from North to South and kicks off September 20, 2025 in Prattville, Alabama.

Each event will feature a post-film discussion, the opportunity to explore issues relevant to the film, and ways to get involved and take action with Freedom Farm Azul.
Revolution from North to South’s Upcoming Screenings:
● September 20, 2025 — 2:00 p.m. – “Yintah”
● September 27, 2025 — 2:00 p.m. – “Farming while Black”
● October 11, 2025 — 2:00 p.m. – “Tending the Soul”
● October 25, 2025 — 2:00 p.m. – “Farming is Medicine”
● November 15, 2025 — 2:00 p.m. – “Roots of Renewal”
