Montgomery, AL- H. Council Trenholm State Community College held its Commencement Ceremony last Friday at Frazer United Methodist Church in Wesley Hall. Dr. Porcia Bradford Love, a Board-Certified Dermatologist and founder of River Region Dermatology and Laser, delivered the commencement address.
“The sky is the limit for you” said Mr. Sam Mullerlyn, President of H. Council Trenholm Community College. “We are relying on you to pave the way for generations to come.”
A total of 202 graduates participated in the commencement ceremony.
In her address, Dr. Love shared her journey from graduating college to owning her own practice. She talked about why having an education is important. “Education is one thing that no one can take away from you” she said. “Education is the ultimate path to success and taking care of your family.”
Dr. Love also encouraged graduates to continue to work diligently to achieve success. “There are no shortcuts to success. It takes hard work, time, and perseverance.”
The mission of Trenholm State is to provide comprehensive and accessible educational opportunities, including academic transfer and technical programs, designed to promote development, enhance workforce development, and improve quality of life for the community.
