Mayor Reed gives update on the city

Montgomery, AL- (July 8, 2025)- On yesterday, Mayor Reed held a Press Conference at the City Hall Council Chambers.

Reed says that crime has went down in the city. While giving the stats, Reed mention how many violent crimes are commited by repeat offenders who are released on bond. He expressed how bail bonding companies and the judicial system should work together to make communities safer.

The city is also accepted bids from local landscaping businsses to help clean up overgrown properties across the city. For more information call 334-625-3069.
