Alabama Democrats Demand Special Session for SNAP Benefits

Montgomery, AL- Alabama House and Senate Democrats held a Press Conference to urge Governor Kay Ivey to convene an emergency special legislative session to address the impact of SNAP benefit cuts to Alabama families on the steps of the Alabama State House.

There were remarks from Senate Minority Leader Bobby Singleton and House Minority Leader Anthony Daniels, as well as Democratic Caucus members from both chambers and community leaders.
