Montgomery was filled with energy and enthusiasm on October 27 at a Get Out the Vote rally at ALOE Event Center. Congressional leaders and Montgomery residents came together for an evening of civic engagement, community empowerment, and unity.
The event featured Congresswomen Jasmine Crockett of Texas and Terri Sewell of Alabama, Congressman Figures, Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed, and other community leaders.
Crockett, Sewell, and Figures participated in a panel discussion focused on civic engagement and political representation. Crockett brought an energetic presence to the conversation. Sewell and Figures took a deep dive into voter participation and the importance of representation in Washington.

Mayor Reed emphasized how voting impacts everyday issues, including healthcare, education, public safety, and the rising cost of living. He reminded attendees that meaningful change requires continued community involvement beyond Election Day.
Throughout the evening, speakers highlighted the power of civic participation and the importance of remaining engaged in the political process ahead of the November 3 election.
