Police search for Regions Bank robbery suspect

Montgomery, AL – The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday evening and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

Police say at approximately 3:52 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, officers responded to a report of a robbery at Regions Bank located in the 300 block of Coliseum Boulevard. According to investigators, the suspect entered the bank, threatened staff, and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene heading toward Pelzer Avenue. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
