Montgomery, AL- On May 10, 2023, The Alabama House Democratic Caucus held a press conference to discuss voting rights in the state. The conference is in response to HB 209, which criminalizes assistance with absentee ballots.
The bill recently passed through the Alabama House of Representatives.
The Press Conference featured Representatives Patrick Sellers (D-Birmingham), Thomas
Jackson (D-Thomasville), Kenyatte Hassell (D-Montgomery) and Adline Clarke (D-Mobile).
