Breast Cancer Awareness Bash
May 31 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

The City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with the local volunteer group Touched by Angels, invites the community to wear pink and participate in the first inaugural family-friendly event for Breast Cancer Awareness. This exciting event will take place at Woodmere Park, located at 5881
Woodmere Blvd, on May 31, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Attendees can look forward to a day filled with food trucks, local vendors, live music,
and fellowship. There will be activities for children, including inflatables, as well as
valuable breast cancer information and resources. This free event aims to bring
awareness and remembrance to the community while fostering a spirit of togetherness.
A highlight of the event will be the Driving Hope Mobile Mammogram Bus, which will be
on-site offering free mammograms to attendees. This initiative underscores the
importance of early detection and provides a vital resource for those in need.
The event is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your leashed pets along! Guests are
encouraged to bring chairs, picnics, small coolers, and more to enjoy a comfortable day
in the park. Security will be present to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for
everyone.
