Montgomery, AL- The 17th annual Montgomery Lions Club Chili Cook-off, presented by United Food & Fuel Citgo will be held October 31st at Riverwalk Stadium from 11 AM until 1 PM. Advance tickets will be available atwww.montgomerylionsclub.com/chili-cookoff for $12 until 10/29/20. Tickets will also be available the day of the event for $15 at the Riverwalk Stadium entrance. Kids 6 and under enter free. Active or retired military admission $10. ALL proceeds support local charities through the Montgomery Lions Club Community Foundation.
Amateur and Restaurant teams from around the River Region will bring their best chili recipes to compete in four distinct categories: meat, poultry, wild game, and vegetarian. A discriminating panel of judges will declare one winner in each category and one Best Overall, while the general public votes for the coveted “People’s Choice Award”.
Ticket holders are entitled to unlimited samples of chili, with to-go quarts available for a $10 donation. Guests will also be able to watch football on the big screen in Center Field, or visit the Club Car Bar for additional refreshments.
