Montgomery Man Found Guilty of Enticing a Child for Immoral Purposes

Montgomery County, Ala. – A man who pretended to be a social service caseworker in an attempt to lure a child into his car and proposition him for sexual acts has been found guilty of enticing a child for immoral purposes, District Attorney Azzie Oliver announced today.

In August 2025, Nikki Miller approached a 12-year-old boy who was walking in his neighborhood in the 300 block of Blackwood Drive. Miller told the boy he worked for the Department of Human Resources and offered him a ride. Once the boy got into his car, Miller began propositioning the boy for sexual favors.
Miller, who was immediately taken into custody after the verdict, faces up to 10 years in prison. He will be sentenced by Judge Tiffany McCord on July 23, 2026.

District Attorney Azzie Oliver said, “This conviction demonstrates our commitment to protecting the most vulnerable members of our community and holding offenders accountable for their actions. But this verdict would not have been possible without the extraordinary strength of the young victim, who showed remarkable courage in coming forward and testifying. I also commend the dedicated prosecutors, support staff, and law enforcement officers whose hard work and professionalism helped secure this verdict.”
