The Town of Mosses in Lowndes County will be presenting a Drive Thru Meet and Greet Community Fest on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at The Mosses Town Hall. From 11AM- 2PM, the community can come out and “drive thru” to meet newly appointed Police Chief DeMarcus Weems.

“I am very excited about this event” Weems said. “This is an opportunity to connect with the citizens that I serve. I plan to build relationships to build a safer and stronger community, especially for our youth.”

Weems was sworn in as police chief on May 28, 2020.

Those who attend the event can stay in their vehicles and drive thru the town hall parking lot to meet Weems and receive free resources, free PPE products, and free food. COVID-19 safety guidelines will be practiced and wearing masks will be highly encouraged.
