We Finance Auto Sales began operations in 2001 under the ownership of Ken Thomas and Tony Richards. The public could find them at 2028 East South Blvd. in Montgomery. In the first five years of operations, the business began to grow and the current location was not big enough. To accommodate the expanding business, We Finance moved down the road to its current location at 2510 East South Blvd. Now known as “The Bad Boys of the Car Business”, Ken and Tony teamed up with Ray Moore to become one of the leading car dealerships in the River Region. Ken Thomas (co-owner) is the buyer. He hand picks the cars himself. Tony Richards (Co-owner) is the closer. He handles the financing aspect of the business. And there is also Ray Moore, who is the broker. He is over general sales and advertising. All three of these guys have been in auto sales for about 12 years. We took the time to sit down with the “Bad Boys” to learn more about their business.
HOW DOES WE FINANCE DIFFER FROM OTHER AUTO DEALERS?
We differ because we make the decision to finance in-house. We partner with both prime and subprime lenders. We offer guaranteed financing. You will not be turned down! We can get you approved because we have unlimited financing power.
WHAT TYPES OF SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
We offer in-house financing and bank financing for people with excellent credit. We also offer second chance financing for those who hit a bump on the road, including bankruptcy, divorce, recent repossessions and charge offs. We also have Simple Car Rentals located inside of We Finance. No credit card or credit check is needed to rent a vehicle.
WHAT INFLUENCED YOU TO GET IN THIS LINE OF WORK?
We saw a need in the Montgomery area to help people who hit bumps in the road with their credit. We wanted to help people who had difficulty buying a depending used car. We knew that the only option for some of these people was a subpar vehicle with high mileage. We wanted to offer financing to everybody BUT a good quality car.
