Montgomery, AL — The Montgomery Police Department has charged a suspect with
the Homicide of Ceyeria Lee, 13, of Montgomery, who was fatally shot on August 17,
2020.
On Monday, August 17, 2020, at about 4 pm, MPD and Fire Medics responded to the
1000 block of Forest Avenue in reference to a subject shot. At the scene, contact was made with Lee who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. Lee was transported to a local hospital for treatment where she later succumbed to her injuries.
MPD charged Andie Dollerson, 17, of Montgomery, with Murder. Dollerson was
identified as the suspect, taken into custody on August 17, 2020, and then placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown, however, Dollerson was
identified as the suspect. There is no additional information available for release in
connection to this continuing investigation.
This was the 43rd Murder of 2020.
