Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce 46th Annual Membership Meeting

Prattville, AL- The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its 46th Annual Membership Meeting last night at the Marriott Legends on Capitol Hill. There were about 400 in attendance.

Outgoing Board Members were recognized, and awards were presented to businesses and individuals in various categories. Recipients were:

Industry of the Year- Fras-le North America

Small Business of the Year-

1-10 employees- Bo Evans Realty

11-50 employees– First Community Bank of Central Alabama

51-100 employees- Larry Puckett Chevrolet

Emerging Business of the Year (less than 5 years in business)- Launch Trampoline Park

Ambassador of the Year- Bryant “Bo” Evans.

In his closing remarks, outgoing board chairman Wade Seamon said he was honored to serve and that he enjoyed meeting different businesses. “This was a good year for economic growth and retail development. This was a rewarding and educational year for me.”

The gavel was passed to incoming board chairman Ryan Lucher. He shared that he is excited to be in his new position. “Our community is engaged in moving forward.”

This year’s Chamber Champions were Alabama Power Company, Arrow Pest Control, ASE Credit Union, BWS Technologies, Central Alabama Cooperative, International Paper, Jackson Thornton, MAX Credit Union, Prattville Hospital, Realty Connection. River Bank & Trust, RTJ Golf Trail at Capitol Hill, Southern Company-Plant Harris, Tenaska, Trustmark Bank, and Warren Averett.   

A Chamber Champion is a leader in the community who represents and promotes the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as promotes their own business to other companies while investing in the community.

Before the meeting there was a Social Hour and Silent Auction.
